  • 7 oz honey
  • all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
PREPARAZIONE:

Dissolve the honey in warm water, then add the oil, to soften the pastry, in a proportion of 1 tablespoon of oil for each quarter of liquid obtained. Then mix the flour to make a dough slightly softer than bread dough; roll it out in a sheet about 0,2 inches thick. With a knife coated in flour or with a circular pastry cutter, cut out stripes about 2 inches wide and cut these crosswise to make diamond-shaped cookies. Arrange all the cookies on a oiled sheet, to be baked at 400° F until the cookies are lightly golden and hard.
