INGREDIENTI:

- 4 ½ lb mussels
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- garlic
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
- chili pepper
- bread slice
PREPARAZIONE:
Scrape the mussels thoroughly and rinse them several times under running water. Put into a pan the oil and a clove of garlic, to be eliminated when golden. Add the tomato conserve and, to taste, a small piece of hot red chili, chopped. Leave to cook for 2-3 minutes, and then add the mussels. Cook over high heat, agitating the pan from time to time until they have all opened. Toast some slices of bread, flavor with a little garlic, and arrange on a plate. Pour on top the mussels with their sauce and serve.
