  • 5 oz oil
  • 3 ½ oz anise
  • lemon zest
Preparation

Knead energetically the flour, egg, anise, sugar, oil and lard, until the dough obtained has risen well. Shape into sticks and join the two ends to form small figures of 8. Boil in a pot tossing them in in batches, and removing as soon as they rise to the surface.

Arrange on a baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes at 400°F.
