  • 3 oz sugar
  • 3 ½ tablespoons milk
  • 1 oz fresh yeast
  • 3 eggs
  • vanilla powder (or vanilla extract)
  • salt
Preparation

To make the dough, mix the eggs, white flour, melted butter, sugar and milk. Leave to rise for a long time in a warm place. Shape the dough into a braid and arrange it on a buttered sheet. Bake a 350°F until the surface is golden. A few minutes before serving at table, dust the cake with vanillin and place at the table centre the traditional hard-boiled egg, peeled.
