INGREDIENTI:

- 1 ¾ lb prunes
- 1 lb amaretti cookies or macaroons
- 12 eggs
- 15 tablespoons sugar
- 3 ½ oz cocoa
- 2 cups milk
- 1 half cup Rum
- lemon zest
PREPARAZIONE:
Soak the prunes in warm water and the macaroons in milk. Squeeze the prunes and chop them up not too finely. Pour all the milk into a casserole, and blend in the cocoa, sugar, eggs, macaroons and prunes, a trace of lemon zest and a small glass of rum. Work well to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Butter a cake pan, dust with flour and pour in the preparation. Bake at a moderate temperature (350°) for about 40 minutes. Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar.
