Spaghetti with Tuna

Tuna and anchovies pair perfectly with spaghetti, giving life to a classic Italian dish.

INGREDIENTS for 4 people

11.5 oz  Spaghetti

3 anchovies

3.5 oz tuna in oil

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 garlic clove

17.6 oz tomatoes

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp oregano, chopped

Preparation

Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large frying on medium heat and, as soon as it is hot, add the whole garlic. Remove it when golden.

 

Wash, clean, debone the anchovies and cut into pieces, then add to the pan. After two minutes add also the peeled tomatoes, previously seeded and coarsely chopped.

 

Cook for eight minutes, then add the tuna drained from the oil and crumbled by hand, the oregano and adjust salt and pepper. Cook for two more minutes.

 

In the meantime, boil the pasta in abundant salted water, and when the cooking time indicated on the pack expires, drain and blend with the sauce prepared.

 

Serve the spaghetti hot.
