Turnips with Sausage
- 1 lb turnips
- ⅝ lb pork sausage
- ½ cup dry white wine
- Extra Virgin Olive oil
Peel the turnips and cut into cubes.
Cut the sausage into 1.5 in pieces.
In a pot, heat un 3 tbsp oil. Brown the sausage and the turnips in the oil, stirring from time to time.
After a few minutes, add the wine. Cover and let evaporate completely.
At this point, everything should be cooked. If it is not, add a little water and continue cooking.
Serve hot in bowls, drizzled with a little extra virgin olive oil.
