INGREDIENTI: per 0 persone
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 oz Italian “00” flour or all-purpose flour
  • sultanas
  • Rum
  • ½ package baking powder
  • lemon and orange zest
Preparation

Melt the fresh yeast in milk, add the eggs beaten with sugar, sultanas, grated zest of one lemon and one orange. If liked, also pine nuts can be added. Stirring mix in the flour gradually so as to make a firm and smooth dough; leave to rise. Once risen, deep-fry it in spoonfuls moving the pan so as to give them a round shape. Drain on absorbent paper, drizzle over a little rum and coat in powdered sugar. Serve warm.
