Ziti with creamy porcini sauce

INGREDIENTS for 4 people

11.5oz Barilla Ziti

4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 clove garlic, chopped

1 lb Porcini mushrooms, sliced

1 cup vegetable stock

1 ½ cup heavy cream

2/3 cup Parmigiano Reggiano, grated

salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

Place a pot of water to boil, cook pasta according to directions.

Meanwhile, in a skillet sauté the garlic with olive oil for one minute, add the mushrooms and brown over high heat for about five minutes. Stir in stock and bring to boil. Then add the cream, salt and pepper and simmer for five minutes. Drain the pasta al dente, and stir in the pan with over high heat, turn off fire and blend in the cheese before serving. Micro green parsley is optional garnish.
